The 7th annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards held last night at The Ebell of Los Angeles theater honored the ‘American Hustle‘ director David O’Russell and costume cesigner Michael Wilkinson for their work behind the scenes, making that the first awards the high antecipated movie ‘American Hustle’ achieved.
Amy Adams attended the event, and I have a few pictures added:
David O. Russell’s “American Hustle” is one of the last major players in this year’s awards season to be unveiled publicly, but an audience at the AFI Fest in Hollywood got a look at the first six minutes of the movie at the end of a tribute to Russell on Friday night.
And what was showcased in the opening sequence was certainly eye-catching. For starters, there was an elaborate comb-over operation so meticulously performed by Christian Bale that even Donald Trump might learn a thing or two from it.
And there was a neckline on Amy Adams’ dress so plunging that it figures to finish the job of obliterating her good-girl image, which Russell started when he cast her as a tough-talking Boston barmaid in “The Fighter” three years ago.
Yahoo had a Q&A with Zach Snyder, Amy Adams and Henry Cavill (which was in London) in order to promote the Blu-Ray release of Man of Steel. Check the full video under the cut. Also screen captures has been added to the gallery:
It was announced a few minutes earlier the nominees in movies, TV and music for the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards and Amy is one of the nominess as Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress!
